Treadmill Test (TMT)

Treadmill Test (TMT)

Treadmill Test (TMT) services, also known as Exercise Stress Test or Stress ECG. TMT is a diagnostic procedure used to evaluate the heart's response to physical stress and detect any abnormalities in cardiac function during exercise.

During a TMT, the patient walks on a treadmill while their heart activity via ECG, blood pressure, and symptoms are continuously monitored. The treadmill speed and inclination gradually increase according to protocol. This allows to assess the heart's ability to respond to increased physical demands and detect signs of coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, or other cardiac conditions.

TMT is particularly useful for evaluating symptoms such as chest pain (angina), shortness of breath, or irregular heartbeat that may occur during physical exertion. It provides valuable information about the heart's blood supply, electrical activity, and overall cardiovascular fitness.

Our skilled cardiologist and technicians conduct TMT procedures with utmost precision ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the test.
